Advertising aiming at children should be banned

    Nowadays a large amount of advertising aiming at children should be banned because of the negative effects. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
    Currently, advertisement become more and more ubiquitous. Especially many of them negatively influent on both adults and children. There is some controversy among people about whether advertising targeting youngers should be abandoned. While some advertisers argue that these advertisements are some house useful for children, I believe that advertisements has disadvantages outweigh advantages for juveniles.
    On the one hand, there are some profits of this kind of marketing. Advertisement is form of public communication. Its aim is to attract attention of people. Therefore, it is a form of modern art as well, it contains a huge of color and images which could boost the creativity of minors. It is essential for their future. Moreover, content of some advertisings influence youngsters to get good habits such as washing hands before meals or after lavatories, brushing teeth after eating.
    On the other hand, a large number of the flashy advertisements can subconsciously have a detrimental impact to the innocents. Firstly, products are promoted are not always benefit for children. However, companies need to take advantage of this kind of communication to sale their commodities or services for maximize profit. Advertisements offer snack, food, drink and toys which relate to these vulnerable ones. As the young are inexperienced which lack abilities to make wise judgment, aware of their necessaries and believe in what come into their eyes several moments in daily life. As a result, they will be likely to insist even put pressure on their ascendant to give them what they are exposed to by public promotion. For instant, it is easy to see advertisement of various brands of instant noodle, soft drinks or junk food on either TV or internet. It might lead these vulnerable ones to overeating and by far to obesity which is precursor of diabetes, hypertension or heart diseases.
    In conclusion, for the children, drawbacks of advertisement predominate benefits. In this condition, parents should accompany their offspring to select the good products. Besides, government has an important role as censorship to manage time and content of this kind of public marketing.
