Children can learn effectively by watching television. They should be encouraged to watch television regularly both in school and at home. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

The topic centering on whether studying via televison is an effective learning method or not. While others argue that this leads to the waste of time, I believe that children are likely to acccumulate tremendous knowledge by watching tevelision.
To begin with, there are several reasons why children can learn effectively through watching TV. The first reason is that television has many beneficial programs such as BBC or wildlife animals. Therefore, when they have no activities to do, it had better to watch these programs than go somewhere and do something useless. For example, BBC news or BBC radios are useful channels for IELTS learners to improve their English’s skill. Or wildlife animals programs make it posible for students to enhance their understanding about rare animals and their living habitats. As a results, when students stay at home and watch helpful television’s programs, they are likely to broaden their minds and improve their social knowledge as well as they do not waste their times for nothing.
Furthermore, watching television’s programs help their creativity and the ability of remembering. Because learning through colorful images and actual voices on TV affect directly in their brands and the capability of memorizing rather than just writing or learning by heart. Finally, day by day technologies develop to be better than before, then children should be encouraged to increase their knowledge in order to use television perfectly. The reason could be that through this activity, children can enrich and update their technological knowledge so as not to be outdated compared to modern life.
In conclusion, television brings lót of useful knowledge and interesting entertainments, so children should be urged to watch television frequently to broaden their minds.
