Museums and art galleries should concentrate on works that show history and culture of their own country rather than works of the other parts in the world. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
Recently, many people choose galleries and museums to visit on weekends or holiday so that some believe that museums and art galleries should only exhibit works which contain historical stories and cultural beauty. However, I think that viewers must respect the works as well as the artists by not limiting their creation.
Art can not include only history and culture as it has always been a creative and professional way to reflect the society since the ancient time. Each artist will have different ways to show not only his mind and soul, but also the reality of lives which sometimes concludes historical stories and cultural factors, and sometimes also things which are contrast to normal conceptions, or even against cultures and regimes. However, most of the times, those things will be hidden under other impressive colors and pictures, therefore not many people are able to get the real meaning of the art works.
Moreover, although several years ago, many people believe that art must support the politics and cultures, however, in modern day life, their opinions should have changed in order to develop the world not only by facility sides, but also spiritual sides. Laws should be loosened so as to allow humans creativity to color and define the world by different ways as art must not be limited: it is the private life of each person’s heart and soul.
In conclusion, while many people worried that free creating art can affect the history and culture of one country, nevertheless, I believe that it is only the explanation and excuse for their unable to touch and feel the rhythm of art and laws should be loosened so that artists can get their right positions in the society..
