Topic: Many students have to study subjects which they do not like. Some people think this is a complete waste of time. Do you agree or disagree?
It is true that education system in Viet Nam is now obliging to the students for researching subjects that they do not keen on. While I accept this may suit many people, I believe others consider spending time on different things to do.
On the one hand, there are several reasons why people should study all the subjects at school. One reason is that knowledge is infinite. The more we figure out aspects of things which are extinct in the world, the better life we will get. For example, no matter that History period lasts 45 minutes, we can know the formation of origin, glorious heroic traditions, etc. From then, youth generations will likely to maintain these mental values and develop them in the right way, this could bring about a much more civilized society. Furthermore, studying minor subjects helps our mind relax after solving calculated problems. Sometimes, those are short videos or documentaries related to the lesson also make teenagers feel comfortable enough, rather than burying their head on excersises they think it is interesting.
On the other hand, students conplained this is a waste of time. Firstly, besides studying at school, to improve health, they need the leisure time to play sports, attend to outdoors activities. They won’t be able to concentrate on what the teachers says if their fitness is not good. Secondly, brain becomes less flexible because it contains overwhelming knowledge that do not necessary, no longer easily absorbed something new. Whereas students really care about subjects supporting their prospective employment.
In conclusion, it is certainly true that learning all subjects can be an important factor for judging how broad is the human understanding, but this is by no means the key to completely success.Kindly check!
