The bar chart demonstrates how 6 age groups of Australian men and women participated in regular physical exercise over the year 2010. Overall, women at all age tended to do more physical activity than men (except for the young girls aged 15 to 24). The percentage of women taking on regular exercise rose over the group from youngest age to age of 45 to 54, while that of men had a slight fluctuation.
According to the chart, the proportion of Australian men doing physical activity was the lowest for the late-age group (35 to 44 years old, only 39.5%). At the early age group, there was a gap between the percentage of boys and girls (respectively 52.8% and 47.7%).
