In what ways has technology affected the types of relationships people make? Has this become a positive or negative development?

There has recently aroused a belief that social interaction is strongly afflicted by the introduction of technology. Indeed, several opinions have been proposed as to ways in which technology influence human relationship, as we will discuss now.

Apparently, there is a number of rationales why technology has long been blamed for its huge impacts on the society. Firstly, it can be said that communication is made far easier and faster thanks to the development of cell phones and the Internet. An example of this would be the inclination to make phone calls instead of meeting to communicate in person. Added to this is that more and more employees choose to send emails over sending package when dealing and working. Secondly, fantastic applications as well as games on smartphones has completely changed the ways people associate with one another in recent years. Obviously, online interaction may appear to bring more joys and enthusiasms than such actual activitives which cause people to abandon their original habits of socializing. Moreover, if this happens for long term, soft skills in each individual will be soon undermined and limited.

A lot have questioned if technology is actually a positive development. The answer lies in the number of benefits it brings which, in fact, is believed to outweigh its drawbacks. Since the birth of technology, human have saved a great deal of time when it comes to communication as there is less need to travel long distances. Furthermore, exchanging visual messages allows senders to illustrate more particular and creative with their talk such as: delivering photo texts, emotions text or even current location. Therefore, quite a huge range of users have shift their focus to purchase expensive and versatile phones and laptops in hope of making their lives more convenient and time-saving.

To conclude, it may appear that there are different ways in which technology directly affect our lifestyle. However, regardless of its trivial downsides, this invention has wonderfully succeeded in bringing people closer in some respects.
