In some countries, governments are encouraging industries and businesses to move to regional areas outside the big city. Do the advantages outweigh the disadvantages?
In some nations, changing the locations of many industries and businesses to industrial areas is encouraged by the officials. It turns out there are some advantages and disadvantages that need to be considered. Personally, I think that the benefits of doing this are totally more valuable than its drawbacks.
To begins, there are number of positives that relocation of the manufactory places has brought to urban life. One of the most memorable benefits is the reduction of environmental pollution in residential areas. Many companies dropped litter taken from production process to inappropriate places. There has been a research that more than 70%5 in open space are polluted by industrial waste and this figure can increase in the future. An additional advantage of the relocation of businesses areas to concentrated industrial ones relates to the decline of production cost. Working in a specific place with a closed process will be easier for businesses to carry out their production plans.
On the other hand, changing businesses locations has also raised a number of concerns among people the most worrying disadvantage that has been mentioned a lot is the lack of customers’ attention. Due to the fact that the distance between industrial areas and urban ones are so big, there would be a breakdown on the market without the customers’ notice.
In fact, a number of solutions have been proposed to tackle the issues of changing productions areas. One of the most effective measures is that government should give more notice on transport system investment between the two areas in order to give businesses chances to break into the market.
In short, relocation place to concentrated industrial places can lead to many advantages and disadvantages. It is my opinion that everything has its own perk and this kind of work totally does more wonders than its drawbacks due to the number of reasons I mentioned above.
