Answer:

Recent decades have witnessed an increasing number of people who travel to regions namely the Sahara desert or the Antarctic to explore its natural beauty. This essay will firstly, discuss picturesque scenery experience as one of the main advantages of this trend and secondly outline possible dangers when visiting such places as one of the main disadvantages.

There are various benefits that tourists can gain by going to such wild areas. Firstly, it is undeniable that spectacular surroundings of these areas can help to satisfy the curiosity of travelers, and thereby they can have the chance to enjoy the natural beauty there. For those who are scientists, there is a strong likelihood that they can find out new flora and fauna due to that fact that such places are still much mysterious to discover. Secondly, travelling to distant places can improve physical as well as metal state of people. Specifically, for some tours, participants must improve their stamina in special training courses prior to taking up the excursion.

However, the aforementioned arguments can be consider from the opposite angle. The most evident disadvantages is that possible dangers such as snakes, sandstorm or even robbers always exist on their trips. Although most tourists are well prepared with basic survival knowledge, undesirable circumstances cannot be avoided. Another obvious drawbacks is that some people who lack physical fitness can easily suffer from health problems due to extreme weather condition.

In conclusion, the benefits that tours in the places with difficult conditions bring to travelers, such as the breathtaking scenery and the physical and mental improvement outweigh the downsides, namely potential risks and unstable health conditions. That is why many people choose these areas as their favorite destination.
