The bar graph depicts the average hours of unsalaried job which was done by married women and married men. As is observed from the graph, the data was collected and divided into 3 different groups.
It is clear that married women had to spend a lot of time to do the unpaid work at home. While the married men did not spend much times in these works. There was a gradual increase in the hours of unpaid work from the women without children to the women with 1-2 or 3 children.
To be specific, 60 hour is the average hours that the women with 3 children had to do any unpaid works at home per week, 2 times greater than the women without children. The women with just 1 or 2 children stood at the second on the graph with about 50 hours of housework at home. In contrast, the average hours of unpaid job which were done by married men without children just a haft of the hours of women, with around 18 hour per week. In the families with 1-2 children and 3 children, the big significantly difference between the amount of time in housework of men and women is displayed with the gap about considerably 30 hours. We also can see that the average time for the unpaid works at home of the married men without children and married men with 1-2 or 3 children were the same with just around 18 hours per week.
