The bar graph compares the number of male and female learning many evening classes at an adult in education Centre in the year 2009, while the pie chart illustrates information about ages of these course participants.
Overall, it is evident from the data recorded that the number of Male in the painting was the highest, while the quantity of female had a greatest in language. Also, the rate of people in aged 50 and over accounted for the highest sector, whereas the share of people in aged under 20 made up the lowest segment.
As we can see from the bar graph, the number of male was the highest, at 25 people in painting. This was followed by the figures for language and drama equal to Sculpture, making up 20 and 10 people separately.
Similarly, the quantity of female was the largest, at 40 people in language, while the figures for painting, drama and sculpture, standing at 30, 20 and 5 people respectively.
In sculpture the number of male had 10 people, which was higher than the figure for female, at 5 people. In language the quantity of male was 20 people, which was lower than the figure for female, at 40 people.
Turning to the pie chart, we can see that. The rate of people in the aged 50 and over was the highest, at 42 %. This outnumbered the figures for people in the aged of 40 to 49, 30 to 39 and 20 to 29, at 26 %, 16 % 11 % collectively. However the share of aged under 20 was the lowest, at 5 %.
