The six pie graphs illustrate the rate of water consumed for different sector (Industrial use, Agricultural use and Domestic use) of worldwide.
Overall, it is noticeable that the shares of water used for agricultural in South America, America, Centre Asia and south East Asia accounted for the highest sector, while the figures for water usage for industrial in North America and Europe made up the largest segment.
As we can see from the pie graph, the proportion of water used for Agricultural in Centre Asia was the highest, at 88 percent. This was followed by the figures for Africa, South East Asia, South Africa and North Africa, standing at 84%, 81%, 71% and 39% respectively. Yet, the figure for Europe was the lowest, at 32 %.
Similarly, the percentage of water consumed for industrial in Europe stood up 53 %. This outnumbered the figures for North America, South East Asia, South America and America, making up at 48 %, 12 %, 10 % and 7 % separately. However, the figure for Centre Asia was the lowest, at 5 %.
Turning to other sector, we can see that in South America the water consumption of Domestic use accounted for 19%, while the figures for Europe, North America and America, made up 15%, 13% and 9% collectively. Yet, the figures for Center Asia equal to South East Asia, at 7 %.
