Task 2 (12/1/2017): provide uni for most of the young
Topic: It is neither possible nor useful for a country to provide university place for a high proportion of young people. To what extend do you agree or disagree?
The question of whether or not the majority of the young should be provided facilities to attend university by the government is still a problem of public concern. I completely consider this as an unnecessary and impossible policy which needs eliminating.
First of all, when investing too much money and time to spread and build universities to satisfy the need of a huge amount of young people, the quality of them can properly be not good and sufficient enough, which may easily cause recession in the education system. Furthermore, the government cannot concentrate on geniuses as they used to. As a result, there are not many great inventions developing the country anymore.
Secondly, providing university for almost young people can directly cause bad effects on the economy because if every young learner graduated from university, there would be a great lack of manual workers while many graduated employees be unemployed, which is severely the main reason receding the economy.
Last but not least, each citizen has their own abilities and roles in society, so that some of them are not intelligent enough to catch up with the difficulty of the curriculum of universities. Meanwhile, they can completely earn their own money without enrolling university.
In conclusion, I believe that attending university should by no means be widespread for most of the young and it is only suitable for someone who has not only intelligence but also passion for their majors in order not to waste the resource of the country.
