The bar chart compares the amount of spare time that men and women have in terms of 5 different employment status.
It is noticeable that people who are either jobless or retired, spend the highest amount of time to relax and enjoy. Another visible trend is that, men have more leisure time than women, except for part time job zone and housewives zone.
The percentage of male counterparts in both full-time status and part-time status remains relatively constant, at around 40%. Men’s involvement in full time jobs spend approximately 43% to unwind. By contrast, men who have part-time jobs, favour spending all time to work over relaxing. According to the chart, exactly 40% time spent of women are for resting, whereas, the proportion of men spending their leisure time is precisely 0%.
Around 83% of the time spent by jobless and retired men is for taking a break, whereas the figure for women is a little under 80%. However, completely different trend can be seen if we look at housewives’ figure. The rate for women who are housewives, is 50%, compared to accurately 0% of stay-at-home husband.
