Some people say that too much attention and too many resources are given in the protection of wild animals and birds. Do you agree or disagree about this opinion?
ANSWER:
It is argued that protecting wild animals and birds is attracting too much concern and too many resources of society. Personally, I totally disagree with this pont of view.
Currently, the life of wild animals and birds are seriously threatened by human impacts. Firstly, wildlife habitats are increasingly shrinking. The cause is due to the human population explosion, so people have cleared the forest for more land to live and cultivate. Additionally, emissions from factories, vehicles and the greenhouse effect are responsible for environmental pollution and climate change that has been occurring in recent years. Secondly, illegal animal hunting is still occurring daily and there are no signs of stopping. In fact, there are thousands of elephants and rhinos have killed for ivory and horns, and a large number of tigers have killed for fur and claws to make a profit. Thus people have pay attention to the protection of animals as much as we can.
To ensure the safety of wildlife, governments have spent a considerable amount of money on wildlife protection programs. For example: there are a number of animal relief organizations such as WSPA, PETA and “Cat and Dog Rescue Station of Vietnam”. Furthermore, governments also invest a huge amount of money in researches to preserve the DNA of wild birds. Individuals also contribute a great deal to protecting wildlife by not using products that are tested in animals and used in animal products and fur commodity.
In conclusion, both concern and resources which are focused on the protection of animals and birds in nature are extremely necessary.
