The diagram illustrates the way solar panels produce electricity to provide for local use.
Overall, it is obvious that there are five main stages in this process, starting with the absorption of energy from the sun. In addition, the two final steps show how to handle the problem of exceeding the amount of electricity.
At the first stage of the provision of energy, solar panels on the roof of the domestic houses absorb energy from the sun and then convert it in to DC current. Following that, this current is turned into AC one by an inverter which takes control of the electricity and production. In the subsequent step, the electricity is delivered to households from an electrical panel.
The fourth stage is that the utility meter takes responsibility of transferring additional electricity from the meter outside the home to the grid. The final process is that in case the panels do not provide enough energy, electricity will be sent from the utility grid to the home.
