Chữa bài IELTS Task 1
The table compares six different countries in terms of the amount of waste they produced over a period of 20 years.
It is clear that there were growing numbers of waste output in all countries from 1980 to 2000, with an exception for the figure of Korea and it is also noticeable that the USA produced more waste than Ireland, Japan, Korea, Poland and Portugal combined.
From 1980 to 2000, the amount of waste output in the USA increased sharply from 131 to 192 million tonnes and this trend was also seen in Japan, Poland and Portugal. While the figure for waste production in Japan rose significantly from 28 to 53 million tonnes, it only saw a small rise in waste produced in Poland and Portugal from 4 to 6.6 and from 2 to 5 million tonnes respectively.
Iceland and Korea experienced big differences in comparison to the tendency mentioned above. The amount of waste output in Ireland increased more than eightfold from 1980 to 2000. By contrast, in Korea, no figure for waste production recorded until 1990, at 31 million tonnes, then dropped to 19 million tonnes in 2000.Attachments:
