The bar chart depicts how much daily recommended fruit and vegetable was consumed by UK people which was measured in percentage from 2002 to 2010.

It is clear from the graph that women consumed the highest amount of fruit and vegetable while children’s consumption had the least percentage. Moreover, the consumption of fruit and vegetable overall increased.

In 2002, women’s consumption stood at the highest with 25% while the proportion of children eating healthy food each day began at the lowest with 11%. Furthermore, men’s consumption of fruit and vegetable was less than women’s consumption by 3%.

During the-eight-year period between 2002 and 2010, there was a slight rise in fruit and vegetable’s consumption of women to 26% with the peak belonged to 2006 with 32%. Meanwhile, the percentage of men consuming fruit and vegetable grew to 26% in 2006 and then declined by 6% in 2010. After rising sharply to 18% in 2006, children’s consumption of fruit and vegetable witnessed a slight fall to 16% in 2010.
