The pie charts reveal the percentage of online sales for travel, film or music, books and clothes in New Zealand in two selected years (2003 and 2013).

As can be seen in the charts, the number of books and film or music expenditure increased dramatically in the period given, whereas the figures for closes and travel decreased.

In 2003, 36% of total sales was travel sector. With this high consumption, travel was the major online sale of the year comparing to other sectors. By contrast, the data of books was lowest with about 19%. The indicator for clothes and film/movie were 24% and 21%, respectively.

By 2013, the proportion of film and music expenditure had been grown significantly to around 33%. However, clothes had witnessed a considerable decline in online shopping sales with only 16%, comparing to 24% in 2003. The data for travel and books had been accounted for about 29% and 22% in order.
