Longer life span and improvements in the health of older people suggest that people over the age of sixty-five can continue to live full and active lives.
In what ways can society benefit from the contribution that older people can make ?As the rapid development of high technology and medical care in modern world, the older people are likely to have more conditions to enjoy their life. However, some of them still want to do something to contribute rather than doing nothing. In this essay I will outline two measures could help them
The first would be to encourage the elderly to do the chore works in their family. By doing this, the older parents can support their sons and daughters who are employees to have more time to focus on working and their offspring are likely to have spare time to relax when they are home. In addition, this is the way for the older generations show their love to the other family members through cooking and preparing meals. Futhermore, doing the choreworks can boost their brain and avoid some illness such as alzheimer, ailment and arthritis; as a consequence, the rate of deseases will decline and saving more medical budets for older people.
The most effective strategy is to persuade the older relations to work as the contracts or part time jobs when thay are over sixty five. The first benefitis that they have done much of experiences and knowledge about their job which are priceless for youngster and sharing those to others in one of the best ways that they could donate for society. Secondly, they might find their passion due to educate the younger group of population; as a result, economycal are predicted to be more prosperous .Lastly, the younger people could be inspired by the older empolees and try to work more effectively.
