Teachers used to convey information, but now with wide resources of information, there is no role for teacher to play in morden education. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

It is true that with the worldwide technological progression, E-learning plays an integral part in acquiring knowledge and broadening students’ minds. While some poeple argue that the role of teachers is not necessary in morden educational system, I believe that several useful knowledge teached by professors is always critical for students’ study.
In the one hand, there are tremendous reasons why teachers’ role is unimportant nowadays. The first reason is the popularity of internet. There is no denying that internet plrovides a wide range of functional knowledge of a lot of fields ranging from maths, science to literature or history. Therefore, by surfing the internet, students are likely to gain their knowledge and learn anything they are interested in. Furthermore, their study can be in anywhere such as in their house, in the library or even in the coffee shop. The second reason is that E-learning can help to develop their self-study skill. Instead of traditional passive studying method, students are likelihood to find out online courses and register for these to enhance their understanding.
On the other hand, teachers also play a vital role in morden educational system. Firstly, teachers passed a period of trainning and teaching, so they always have valuable experiences that internet cannot bring. A senior teacher, for example, have 10-year teaching experience and he or she konws almost common mistakes of students. Therefore, it is not the waste of time for students to suffer this errors. Besides, in rural areas where internet is inconneted, teachers are also important roles in conveying knowledge to children. Furthermore, when meeting any difficulties in their study, the explanation of teachers makes it possible for students to understand easier rather than searching by themselves on the internet.
In conclusion, it is true that with a huge amount of information teachers are no longer important as previous, but this is by no means the key consideration in disappearing teachers’ role in modern educational system.
