Chữa bài IELTS Task 2
Some people believe that unpaid community service should be a compulsory part of high school programmes (for example working for a charity, improving the neighbourhood or teaching sports to younger children).
To what extent do you agree or disagree? It is true that teachers should force their students to participate in some volunteer collective activities. While I accept that these acts play an important role in developing a fully-educated model, I believe that it will be better if anything is derived from student’s consciousness.
On the one hand, working for a charity or helping someone bring the positive influence on students and also give them moral messages. Unpaid community service allows teenagers to know how to take care others, especially those in tough situations. Furthermore, taking part in the volunteer work create a huge opportunity not only to enhance their world knowledge, communication skills, but also improve physical and mental health. For instance, teaching sports to youngsters give them the time to relax and might also encourage them try hard and get higher academic performance rather than just teaching the theoretical subjects alone.
On the other hand, although unpaid programmes are necessary, they should not be compulsory. Obviously, it cannot bring a high efficiency when teenagers do anything forcedly. Moreover, students will even react against these activities if they do not understand the meaning or simply they are not their favorite things. Teacher should analysis why students ought to do these volunteer works and encourage them instead of binding children to do what teachers want.
In conclusion, it is certainly true that volunteer collective activities have a variety of advantages and they are really indispensable, but this is by no means because of forcing.Xin loi ban vi su cham tre. Hom nay minh moi nhin thay bai cua ban.
