The table makes comparison among five countries in terms of different categories of expenditures in the year 2002.
Overall, food,drinks and tobacco ranked first in consumption in five countries.In addition, of all items leisure,education items were the least expended.
People in Turkey are those who spent the most on food,drinks and tobacco, at 32.14%.The next name in the column was Ireland whose percentage is 28.91%.Besides, Italy,Spain,Sweden saw similar figures for the consumption of this category ( 16.36%,18.80% and 15.77% respectively).
In this same year, only precisely 9% of expense is spent on clothing and footwear in Italy.While the proportions of clothing and footwear in Ireland,Spain and Turkey were analogous (6.43%,6.51% and 6.63% respectively), it was slightly lower in Sweden, at 5.40%.
The utilization rates of leisure and education items gradually decreased from Turkey (4.35%) to Sweden and Italy ( both about 3.2 %) to Ireland at exactly 2.21% and Spain were those who spent the least on this group ( only 1.98%).Attachments:
