The pie charts illustrates the emissions of CO2 gas of three parts of the world in 2002 and gives the prediction for 2030.. The bar chart compares and contrasts the amount of carbon dioxide emited by four main sectors as well as others in the same period of time.
Overall, the pie chart shows the obvious changes of gas production by OECD countries and developing countries. The column chart indicates the significant rise in CO2 emissions of transportation, consumer and industry.
In 2002, the gas waste in OECD countries made up over half of the total chart at 52% while developing countries only emit about 38%. By 2030, it is forseen that there will be a noticeable rise of carbon dioxide emissions in developing countries to 48% but same amount fall in OECD with 43%. There will be a slight fall in transition economies to 9% in 2030 compares to 10% in 2002.
In terms of detailed sectors producing greenhouse gases, the amount of gas emissions will increase dramatically two or three times in 2030 compares to 2002 in three main sectors: transportation, consumer and industry while it will almost remain in waste combustion at about one billion tons.
