It is argued that children go to school to learn how to be a great resident or laborer rather than to benefit them as characters. I disagree with those people as both of them are equally essential for young learner. .
On the one hand, there are some subjects and activities which help children to become a good person at school and social life. Firstly, pupils are studied the Civic Education which helps them to have suitable action in both family and social life. For example, if one pupil walks on the street and meets an old man who need to cross a street, he will help him with enthusiasm. Secondly, the children are usually joined the extracurricular activities as going to countryside to learn how to plant a tree or going to factory to see how to manufacture goods by worker. They will have positive thinking and recognize value of laborer.
On the other hand, the children are also learned how to show up themselves. Firstly, they are encouraged to do some positions in class as monitor or leader to develop their skill leader. They have more confidence and responsibility with everyone. Furthermore, school is the environment to compete achievement. The children will try to study to get high score and high rank in their class. By studying hard, they can improve their knowledge which really necessary for themselves to have a good job with high salary.
In conclusion, I believe that we cannot compare two purposes each other to see which one is more necessary because they have equal meaning to children.
