The line graph compares the average quantities of audiences of Channel one news at 4 different times over a course of a year.
Look at the graph, it is clear that 6 pm was viewd the during 12-month period. Despite fluctuations figures for three other times, the figure for 1 pm remained fairly stable, hovering at around 1.3 million.
In January, viewing figure for 6 pm began almost 5 million per day. There was a period of volatility before hitting a low at 3.3 million in August. Then this figure fluctuated and regained its level in August when December approaches.
The figure for 9:30 pm started at just over 3 million in the first month and then climbed to its peak at 4.8 million in May. It went to a free fall in next three month to hit level of 1 million and increased remarkably in the remaining of the year.
May saw the introduction of 11pm News though this figure was negligible. In the next three months, there was an impressive acceleration of figure for 11 pm to reach 4 million views per day and it overtook 6 pm figure to be most popular in August.
