Some people think that parents should teach children how to be good members of society. Others, however, believethat school is the place to learn this.
Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.

In recent years, the belief that parents should take over the job of educating children to become firm social members has aroused heated debates. Many feel that this is the best way for human development whereas others believe in schools doing this better. From my perspective, I am wholly in favor of the latter for a number of specific rationales.

On the one hand, it is widely perceived that parents are the ones whose lives have most interactions with their children. Evidently, living under the same roots allows adults to have a close oversight on their kids’ behaviors and lifestyle. Therefore, if there is any false action in ways the youth behaves, grown-ups can be there in time to fix and direct. Moreover, as a matter of fact, hardly anyone knows youngsters better than their parents. This might lead to the appropriate upbringing based on different personalities in modern society. For example, when confronting with a stubborn child, adults should be more patient and understanding rather than immediately imposing strict regulations.

Conversely, I would strongly argue that it is the cultural diversity meaning of schools that they can offer a more professional and practical education on becoming moral citizens. Firstly, schools are usually seen as a small society which enables students to boost chances of human exposures and communications. Apparently, letting children cause and fix problems on their own is one of bright ways to teach young generation to improve their endurance and become tougher in life. Secondly, schools in general will apply directing programs that usually have been thoroughly approved by governments. Hence, they will provide various proper approaches which might easily train students to be a helpful social member.

All things considered, while it can be said that parents show great understanding towards their children, schools should also be considered a wise choice due to its professionalisms and practicality.
