Chữa bài IELTS Task 1
The table compares the turnovers of coffee and bananas in 1999 and 2004 in five European countries namely UK, Switzerland, Denmark, Belgium and Sweden.
Overall, the figures in 2004 are always higher than in 1999 for both of coffee and bananas, with the only notable exception of banana data in Sweden and Denmark, which are lower.
In 1999, Switzerland held the highest sales of both coffee and bananas, at 3 million euros and 15 million euros, respectively. However, only 0.8 million euro earned from selling coffee in Sweden and 0.6 million euro gained from bananas trading in Belgium were considered as the lowest takings in this year, compared to other studied countries in Europe.
In 2004, UK became the leading country in coffee trading with 20 million euros procured by this business. Meanwhile, Switzerland was still the peak of bananas sales with a 47 million euro receipt in the same year. Denmark was at the bottom rank of bananas proceeds with only 0.9 million euro and Sweden again received the smallest amount of 1 million euro from coffee dealing.Attachments:
