Some people claim that not enough of the waste from homes is recycled. They say that the only way to increase recycling is for governments to make it a legal requirement.
To what extent do you think laws are needed to make people recycle more of their waste?
Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

Eco-environment nowadays has been a concerned issue either in our country or over the world. Many people think that there are not many citizens aware of garbage-recycling. Therefore, the governments should make legal regulations in order to increase recycling. In my opinion, I completely agree with this idea as I discuss below.

To begin with, there are some reasons causing not enough household rubbish recycled. Firstly, a family must have some different dustbins for each kind of waste. It also account for more house’s spaces. Secondly, it is inconvenient when people have to sort out material of the used things in order to put them into the right can after using. A good example is in Viet Nam’s family, there is only one big trashcan in each floor. People just throw all rubbish things such as food, polymer, fabric in the same can and all are sent to rubbish-truck.

Moving to the terms of rising recycling in society. Some people suggest that it is necessary to widely educate and transmit awareness of recycling to citizens, I think the best tools is making a legal framework by the governments. The principle reason for this is people always have to obey as the legal rules. Besides that, this situation is supported when companies or communities put two or three trashcans and note clearly the guidance in sorting out garbage on each one. This results in setting nice habit of people when they throw waste. For instance, zero waste lifestyle campaign began from USA and has become popular in the world. People have been transmitting message over globalization about reducing, reusing and recycling with the aim at saving costs and protecting the green air. Consequently, young generations increase their sense and habit in using everything as zero waste lifestyle.

In conclusion, there are not many people having enough awareness of recycling the waste. Therefore, government should set a legal requirement about this issue in order to make it happen widely and productively.
