A government’s role is only to provide defence capability and urban infrastructure (roads, water supplies, etc.). All other services (education, health, social security, etc.) should be provided by private groups or individuals in the community.
To what extend do you agree or disagree with this opinion?

There are a lot of debates that a government must solely in charge of managing defence activities and providing city amenities, while private businesses should independently take care of other services. I completely against this opinion and believe some areas should involve the joint effort of both parties.
On the one hand, it is true that defence activities play an extremely crucial role in all societies and the government must take the whole responsibility of this. The security and strength of each country can be determined as good or bad greatly depends on armed forces. Dealing with nation security issues require lots of effort from politicians and state officers who are only employed by the official state. That is to say, only the official authorities have a sense to protect their own nations without any private interest, but not individuals who may change mind to serve their purposes.
On the other hand, some public services including infrastructure and state benefits should get collaboration between the administration and private sectors. The boom of the world’s urbanization these days have made all nations in the rush of building roads, and traffic systems to cope with demands from inhabitants. These construction plans require an enormous budget for the governments, and therefore, it would be a better idea to get a financial support from unofficial businesses. In terms of education, health care as well as other daily life services like water, and electricity supply, private sectors could give their hands to reduce workload and pressure of the states.
In conclusion, while I agree with some essential areas relating to social security must be taken care by the administrations, other services, however, should get the involvement of unofficial enterprises.
