The pie charts provide information about the proportion of four different kinds of accommodation of people on vacation over a period of two decades.
Overall, the data for hotels and caravans experienced upward trends, while those for accommodation that people stay with relatives or friends decreased during the researched period. At the same time, the figure for camping remained unchaged.
In 1985, the percentage of accommodation that people live with relatives or friends was highest, at 55%, which was followed by that of camping, at 19%. Also, 16% and 10% hotels and caravans were used by people respectively. In 1995, there were significant declines to 35% and 12% of accommodation that people stay with relatives or friends and campings correspondingly. The data for hotels and caravans climbed considerably to 28% and 25%.
From 1995 to 2005, the percentage of accommodation that people live with relatives or friends continued to fall to 30%. That figures for hotels and campings went up sharply to 37% and 19%, whereas those for caravans dropped rapidly to 14% as the period wrapped up in 2005.
