A glance at the two pie charts provided reveals the relative employment proportion by genders and occupations in Great Britain in 1992, which is divided into two main sectors: manual and non-manual.
It is apparent from the information supplied that the proportion of female employees who work in non-manual jobs was higher than those working in manual works, and the reverse is true for male labors.

In term of female workers, the proportion of people working in clerical or related was highest, at 31% while the figures for managerial and professional and other manual were slightly lower, with 29% and 27% respectively. By contrast, 9% of female workers selected other non-manual, compared to 3% on craft or similar. Meanwhile, a mere 1% of workers employee were general laborers.

With regard to the figure for male employees, managerial and professional was the most option with 36%, whereas the number of those working on saw lower, at 26%. While there were only 26% people who employed in craft or similar, the figures for clerical or related and other non-manual were equal at 6%. Meanwhile, general laborers made up only 2% of the total selection.
