There is a general increase in anti-social behaviors and lack of respect for others.
What are the causes and solutions?

Antisocial behaviors and disrespectful attitude towards others have long been a major concern in society. There are a number of reasons behind this trend and several solutions should be proposed to solve this problem.
There are two primary reasons why emotional and behavioral problems among people have been increasing at an alarming rate. Frist and foremost, being addicted to social media has created barriers among people. To be more specific, a social media addict tends to spend a great amount of time constantly accessing their social networking account to keep in touch with virtual friends instead of talking or visiting relatives in reality. Gradually, people have a tendency to censor themselves and avoid real-life situations because they are busy checking social networking sites’ notification. Furthermore, modern adults are too busy with their rat race and spending time to care each other is time-consuming to them, even with their child. As a result, these children cannot distinguish the difference between right and wrong, they would grow up with ill-mannered attitudes.
However, some simple measures should be implemented to deal with the root cause of antisocial behaviors and disrespectful attitude on an individual and family level. Personally, people should prioritize their real social life over the virtual one by reducing social networking addiction. Only by setting a timer on a watch or a phone could phone users limit the amount of time spent on social media.On a parental level, parents must not underestimate the significance of their guidance for children. They should set a good role model for their children at first such as being hospitable and kind to people around. Consequently, positive parent’s behaviors would properly shape their child’s cognition about having a good manner towards others. Moreover, they should pay attention to their children’s attitude as well as devote time to communicate and educate kids at home instead of prioritizing their career. For example, if parents notice any signs of an insolent manner in children, they must provide them with negative evaluations of these signs.
In conclusion, the rise of behavioral and emotional problems can be tackled by effective measures in terms of personal changing behaviors and the guidance from parents.
