The diagram below shows the process by which bricks are manufactured
      for the building industry.

This diagram shows 7 consecutive steps in the production of bricks from clay.
At first, clay has to be dug up by a digger. Then the mass of clay is placed on a metal grid in order to break into smaller pieces. At the next stage, water and sand are added to make a mixture, which is then either formed in moulds or cut into brick-shaped pieces by a wire cutter. After that, the bricks are kept in a drying oven for 24-48 hours.
Those bricks are then transferred to a kiln to be kept at a moderate temperature of 200˚C – 980˚C. Afterwards, they continue to be heated for the second time at a higher temperature 870˚C – 1300˚C in another kiln. This process is followed by cooling down the bricks for 48 to 72 hours in a cooling chamber. Once the bricks have become hard, they get packaged and delivered to their final destination.
