Space exploration is much too expensive and the money should be spent on more important things.
To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Space exploration programmes require a large amount of money to carry on. Personally, I agree with the statement that this action waste too much money, and the funds should be used for other crucial purposes.
It is clear that these space projects cost a great deal of the government’s budget. The main reason is that it is extremely expensive to train astronauts, scientists, researchers who are involved in space exploration, and facilities and technological equipment also come at a high cost to meet safety requirements. Moreover, in some countries, in order to execute space missions, governments are not reluctant to increase taxes and other consumption cost which may affect the lives of citizens. Along with the huge cost, these space travel programmes also need the same amount of time and efforts to bring in progress. However, if the results cannot meet the demands, it is truly a waste of governments’ funds and is unpractical to people’s needs.
On the other hand, instead of spending money on space exploration, there are several reasons why we should invest in building services for community and other important missions. Firstly, it is cheaper to allocate the capital to employ teachers, doctors, police and construct infrastructure such as roads, bridges or subways. Secondly, public service workers do jobs which have a major impact on every member of society. For example, we all use schools, hospitals, roads and the security that the police provide. Finally, good investment in necessary things like public services or environmental conservation will improve the quality of human and animals’ life, which might contribute to the development of one’s country.
In conclusion, I believe that money should be reallocated to vital things instead of space projects that can benefit all species in our planet.
