The table below shows the percentage of people living in three types of dwellings in
Australia in 2001 and 2006.

The given table indicates the proportion of citizens who populated in three different kinds of areas in Australia in both years 2001 and 2006.
Overall, in all three of places, people preferred inhabiting in House to Semi-detached, Flat/Apartment and Other. Additionally, the figures for Flat/Apartment in all dwellings increased while those of the others decreased or remained the same over the period.
In 2001, the rate of Tasmanian population who resided in House was the highest, at 88, compared to 76 for Vitoria and 67 for Northern Territory. By contrast, in the same year, Semi-detached, Flat/Apartment and Other were places where people selected to live less than the other, with their figures which only ranged from 1 to 12.
Five years later, although all the figures in terms of House of three mentioned locations dipped, in which the percentage of Victorian settling in this place declined sharply to 26, Tasmania showed such domination against the others as its figure stayed the highest, at 86. In this year, while the rates of people who lived in the Other of all areas rapidly dropped or maintained the same to 1, those of habitants populating in the remaining categories slightly increased or stay constant with the maximum figure was 13.
