The chart shows the proportion of renewable energy in total energy supply in 4 countries from 1997 to 2010

The bar graph depicts the percentage of renewable energy in total energy supply in Australia, Sweden, Iceland and Turkey in years 1997, 2000 and 2010.
Overall, renewable energy was by far the most popular in Iceland, and the proportion of renewable energy in Australia declined over the given period while Sweden and Iceland saw an increasing trend in the percentage of renewable energy in total energy supply.
Iceland has the highest figures regarding the occupation of renewable energy in total energy supply. To be precise, about 48%, 60% and 71% energy supplied in Iceland in years 1997, 2000 and 2010, respectively, were renewable energy while that of other countries were under 40% over the given period.
The figures for Sweden increased from 5% in 1997 to just under 10% in 2000 On the contrast, Australia and Turkey experienced a slight decline over the period regarding the proportion of renewable energy. Specifically, the statistics of Australia and Turkey decreased from merely 9%, and 38% in 1997 to about 5% and 38% in 2002, respectively, in spite of the rise of about 5% of the percentage of renewable energy in Turkey in 2000..
