The graph below shows relative price changes for fresh fruits and vegetables, sugars and sweets, and carbonated drinks between 1978 and 2009.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The line graph provides information about changes in price of three distinct food product groups in the USA and the overall trend in comsumer-price index from 1979 to 2009.
Overall, it is clear that the prices for three food product groups increased steadily over 30-year period despite fluctuations. Additionally, only the price for fresh fruits and vegetables was significantly higher than the general consumer price index.
In the 1920-1935 period, the consumer price index experienced a steady growth, from around 60 in 1979 to over 200 in 2009. The data for sugar and sweets and carbonated drinks also witnessed the similar trend. However, after 1987, they were consistenly below the consumer price index. After many minor, the numbers for sugar and sweets and carbonated drinks were 200 and 150, respectively.
Over the same period, there was a dramatic rise for the figure for fresh fruits and vegetables, which increased more significantly than other food product groups. From 60 at the start of the priod, the price finished at about 340, which was the highest point compared to other food products and the consumer index.
