Dạng bài Problem and Solution trong Task 2 (P5) – IELTS Writing
Bây giờ chúng ta phải đi đến các đoạn viết giải pháp trong một bài viết Problem – Solution của IELTS Writing Task 2.
1. Cấu trúc đoạn văn về giải pháp
Đoạn văn về giải pháp của chúng ta sẽ có cấu trúc như thế này:
Câu 1- Nêu ra giải pháp
Câu 2- Giải thích cách nó sẽ giải quyết vấn đề
Câu 3- Ví dụ
>> Câu nêu ra giải pháp: A possible solution to this problem would be to build flood barriers. (Một giải pháp khả thi cho vấn đề này là xây dựng các con đê chắn lũ.)
Bây giờ chúng ta cần giải thích cách giải pháp này sẽ giúp giải quyết vấn đề như thế nào. Một lần nữa, đừng cho rằng giám khảo có kiến thức chuyên môn về chủ đề này, bạn cần phải giải thích thật rõ ràng ý của bạn.
>> Câu giải thích giải pháp: Flood defences, such as dikes, dams and floodgates, could be built along coasts and waterways, thereby stopping the water reaching populated areas. (Các loại rào chắn lũ như đê, đập hoặc mương có thể thể được xây dựng theo đường bờ biển để ngăn chặn nước xâm nhập vào khu vực dân cư.)
>> Câu nêu ví dụ: The Netherlands is one of the most populated areas in the world and also one of the most vulnerable to flooding and they have successfully employed various flood defence systems. (Hà Lan là một trong những đất nước có cư dân khá đông đúc của thế giới và đồng thời cũng là một quốc gia rất dễ bị lũ xâm nhập đã rất thành công trong việc xây dựng hệ thống chống lũ.)

A possible solution to this problem would be to build flood barriers. Bạn cũng có thể đưa ra một gợi ý hoặc một dự đoán. Bạn chỉ nên làm điều này nếu có thời gian và đã viết đủ số lượng từ được yêu cầu trong IELTS Writing.

Global warming is one of the biggest threats humans face in the 21st Century and sea levels are continuing to rise at alarming rates. What problems are associated with this and what are some possible solutions.
Climate change is among the principal dangers facing people this century and ocean levels are increasing dramatically. This essay will first suggest that the biggest problem caused by this phenomenon is the flooding of homes and then submit building flood protection as the most viable solution.
The foremost problem caused by sea levels creeping up is the flooding of peoples’ residences. Millions of people all over the world live in coastal areas and if the sea rises by even a few feet, they will be inundated with water and lose their property. Shelter is one of the most basic of human needs and widespread flooding would cause millions of people to become homeless, not to mention losing all of their possessions. The devastation brought about by this was clear for all to see during the 2011 Tsunami in Japan, in which millions of people were displaced.
A possible solution to this problem would be to build flood barriers. Flood defences, such as dikes, dams and floodgates, could be built along coasts and waterways, thereby stopping the water reaching populated areas.
