The pictures show information about average income and spending on food and clothes by an average family in a city in the UK.

The table and pie charts indicate how much an average family earned and spent on food and clothes in the years 2010 and 2013 in a city in the UK.
Overall, despite a drop in household income, spending by an average family on food and clothes increased. In addition, an average family in UK spent the same proportion of household spending on other food and drinks in both years.
There was a decline of Pound4000 to Pound25000 in household income, but a slight rise of Pound1000 to Pound15000 in expenditure on food and clothes.
Turning to the two pie charts, in 2010, 25% of household budget went on meat and fish, while the figure for clothes was just 22%. In the same year, other food and drink products and fruits and vegetable took 18% and 20% of total household spending respectively, compared to dairy products which costed the least amount of money.
In 2013, fruits and vegetables overtook the other sectors as the highest household spending pattern with an approximate 15% growth. By contrast, expenditure on clothes and meat and fish saw a decrease of 10% each. However, the figure for dairy products rose by 5% and that for other kinds of food and drink remained the same.
