The diagrams illustrate changes affected in the Village between 2004 and 2014.

Task
The two maps illustrate differences in Village Park after 10 years. Overall, Village Park now is more modern with some areas were rebuilt and replaced as well as some facilities were completely new. Another remarkable feature is that there was less spare space in this village in 2014.
As can be seen from the two maps, the only area that had no change was football pitch, which was in the middle of the village. The woods in the bottom right corner were replaced by the toilets and new café. Furthermore, the pond in the South was removed and this land was utilized to be the boating lake. At the bottom left corner, the new picnic area was built in 2014.
Regarding other facilities, most of them were expanded and reconstructed. The first one is the tennis court, which was doubled in size, compared to 10 years ago. Parking area was extended when it allowed 50 people to leave their cars. The zone for children’s play was divided into two parts namely Children’s Park and Children Softplay area.
