Some people think that poverty leads to happiness. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?

To many people’s belief, Jesus is one of the most influential people in human beings’ history, and his sayings include a mysterious power in changing one’s life. However, there are still many oppositional attitudes toward his sayings. While some people hold a belief that poverty leads to happiness, with this today world I completely disagree with this because of some following reasons.
The most important reason is that lack of money makes families live on a tight budget. This soon creates the waves of financial conflicts and disagreements that will be a precursor for imminent hard period of time in family life. In rural areas in Viet Nam, a multitude of poor families face financial problems constantly, and this makes a big contribution to reduce living standard of people.
The second important ground is that poverty affects children’s study. The less money families possess, the lower opportunities will be offered to their children to gain vocational education or higher education because stepping into knowledge path requires not only children’s ability of study but also tuition. Therefore, If parents accept and live with their poverty without making effort and attribute their situation to an arranged destiny, this means that they close the door of dreams of the next generations in their families.
Health seems to be a good justification for why happiness can not be an outcome of poverty. It is obvious that the insufficiency of money forces people to take consumption behaviours into serious consideration; therefore, they have to buy and eat lower standard and insufficiently nutritious foods. By doing this, their health will be deteriorated. In ethnic minorities in the world, people die in a tremendous number yearly due to lack of nurture and healthy foods.
In conclusion, although many people agree that poverty leads to happiness, as far as I am concerned, I do disagree with this owing to three typical reasons above. I think that all nations should join hands and the rich countries should subsidize the poor countries to put poverty aside.
