The pictures illustrate the transpormation of a library from 1995 until now.
Overall, some functional rooms of the library were closed, then many areas become vacant. In addition, computers now have been connected to the Internet.
Firstly, photocopiers is still located in the southeast part of the library, right on the right hand when going through the entrance. However, before the photocopier where the Librarian’s desk used to be is the self-service desk now. On the left of the layout, the local reference books were turned into the new books; and computers without Internet access are no longer available. The room was closed and chairs were putted instead.
The main development is that in the center of the library, the book display is significantly larger than it was in 1995 because it occupies the areas those were used for newspapers and study table. In addition, reference books and maps in the north were converted into the compter room with equipment to access to the Internet.
