While the pie chart illustrates data on the less productive agriculture land, the table compares the percentage of land degraded by 3 regions throughout the 1990s.
Overall, Over-grazing which was the most significant part of the pie chart, also was the highest rate in the table. On the other hand, Others contributes the least to the pie chart, this show us how defective people use land for.
In particular, despite the essential of forest, Deforestation accounts for nearly a third of the causes of worldwide land degradation. Moreover, this rate makes the highest contribution on Europe, at exactly 9,8%. Otherwise, 7% was the proportion of land use Other, which is about a quater lower than Deforestation.
In addition, Over- grazing hold the largest percentage in the pie chart, at precisely 35%, while the proportion land degraded by this in 3 particular regions was the largest in Europe at 7,7%, 2,1% lower than Deforestation in the same country. Finally, 28% was the rate of Over- cultivation which was highest on Oceania region at 11,3%.
