Some people say material possessions are very useful in bringing us happiness, but others argue that they are useless in terms of providing happiness.
Discuss both views and give your own opinion and reasons.
It is sometimes argued that the role of wealth in each individual’s life. Although many suppose possessions are the dominant factor deciding their happiness. I personally believe that there are other precious influences besides material belonging that can bring people satisfaction.
On the other hand, possessions in general and money in particular play a vital role in life for many convincing reasons. Initially, it exists with people in every aspect of daily life. For instance, we need money for purchasing food, drink, service and any other demands. Secondly, having variety of material possessions like necklace, rings and bracelets is a way for people emphasize their social status as well as a hobby. To be more specific, in the process of globalization, with money, people can get into society and receive respect from many people including successful ones.
On the other hand, people with a contrasting viewpoint maintain that there are a bunch of real values of life which are much more important than money and provide us with true definition of happiness. First and foremost, family is a principle factor. Specifically, people will not feel real happy when their earnings are so high, but they do not have a true family which can share with them daily stories and give them encouragement. Another angle can be found in the fact that others find happiness and achieve it by supporting miserable people. They consider it a way to enrich their sentimental lifestyle.
To conclude, while the wealth is also crucial, I still hold a firm belief that the truly method od acquiring happiness depends on different other factors.
