It is argued that the main role of parents is educating either fostering kids. Personally, parents must do both of these things.
To begin with, there are various reasons why parents have a principal position in teaching and disciplining children. Initially, parents are the first teacher of every kid. In fact, when kids are just born and less than school age, what they did and saw has a direct effect on their consciousness. Thus, within this period, without teachers, if parents do not let them know what is right and wrong and do not discipline them to make mistakes, they will easily commit serious crimes when getting older. Secondly, time at school is limited. Hence, it is not sufficient for kids, if they just study from their teachers. Nevertheless, they should also be taught by their parents as studying is a continuous process even at home. Moreover, nowadays school tend to focus on academic things, but lacking of teaching about life. Thus, without parents’ guidance, kids will be short of practical knowledge
However, though educating is such an essential thing for kid’s maturity, it is still not enough when being without the careful nurture of parents. Firstly, the environment has a main influence on kid’s development. In this way, if parents do not take care of kid sufficiently and not give them a good place to grow, it will make children’s personality worse in future; which is proved by many scientific researches. In addition, parents are the one who give the child breath. Therefore, it is not hard to understand why they love their children most and nurturing kids is reputed as the obligated responsibility for them.
In conclusion, kids cannot thrive without being educated either being fostered by their parents, so parents must implement both of these for kid’s maturity.Attachments:
