Explicitly shown in the table was a comparison of the percentage of people aged 65 or more in three particular nations (namely Canada, Germany,and the UK) from 1988 to 2030.
It is noticed that, the proportion of people in age of 65 increased until 2000s,is expected to rise significantly in the near future and remain their own rank in the mentioned years.
It can clearly be seen from the table that in 1988, 20.45% of people were in the age group of 65, compared to 14.23% in the United Kingdom, a gap of 10% in 2000. Meanwhile, Canada steadily maintained the second position with 16.32% in1988, 20.67% in 2000.
Looking into the future, The elderly population in Canada is supposed to have the highest rate among three countries, a precise difference of 5.75% between 2000 and 2030, compares with 5,46% in the UK, 5.1% in Germany.However Germany still in the first on the rank with 30.42%.
