Discuss the advantages and disadvantages of working from home
It is true that recently, more and more people want to work at home as it more comfortable. However, this trend still exists some apparent drawbacks. This essay discuss the pros and cons of working from home.
Working from home benefits the workers in several ways. First of all, they do not have to face the traffic congestion, which consume much of their time during rush hours. For instance, some big cities such as Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh, people have to suffer from this problems at least twice on a daily basis and often get stuck for one or two hours. Moreover, it is claimed that working at home is the best option for parents who often complain that they do not have enough time for their families when working at the office. Working from home give people flexibility to balance their working life as well as their social life.
On the other hand, it is argued that people who working from home often feel a sense of being isolated and less likely to ladden their career. In the office, workers may do their work efficiently since they are able to work as a team with other colleagues. Therefore, they can sharpen their teamwork skills and expand their social network. As a result, they may find more chances to get up their carreer rather than working alone in home. Besides that, some workers at home admit that they are easily get distracted by the temptation in home environment such as turning on the television, wasting their time on the Internet or other relax acitivities. This could lead to the consequence of inefficient working.
In conclusion, although working from home can give people more opportunities to share family works and enjoying your lifetime, the disadvantages could not be ignored. Therefore, people have to avoid their temptation in home environment and spend time wisely to interact with their colleagues.
