In recent years, a number of museums and historical places are mostly visited by visitors but no local residents. There are certain causes of this trend and a wide range of solutions should be implemented to tackle the problems.
Three are certain reasons why numerous museums as well as historical sites are primarily visited by traveller but no the locals. The first reason is that museums and historical destination are not attractive to local inhabitants. In fact, when travelling to a country, tourist are keen on learning about culture as well as history of the land on which they are putting their feet. As a result, these may be appealing to visitors. In contrast, the locals, who are born ad have lived in their countries for a long time, are less curious about these places. Another reason to the fact that local people do not care about historical sides is the ticket price for entrance. By doing this, it will not encourage them to pay a visit to museums and historical places.
However, there are several actions that could be taken to solve the problems described above. Firstly, one effective solution to deal with these problems is that museums and historical sites should celebrate some civic activities and events such as extra classes for children at these places in order to capture more attention from the locals. Another measure is that government should give free tickets to local residents who live nearly museums and historical destinations.
In conclusion, there are some reasons why the locals do not often go to museums or historical places. Government should give more policies so that the locals visit historical sites.
