The map gives information about the changes that occurred recently in the Spanish city of Castellon. Overall, the city was completely transformed with the addition of a number of facilities, however, some important features of the city has been remained.
In 2000, the south western region existed an old market and a train station, but now they have been replaced by a police station and a new shop. Several entertainment places have been constructed at the bottom of the area, such as cinema, bars and clubs. In the right-hand corner of the city, the airport is under constructed and is expected to serve a wide range of local people, while the new covered market have been rebuilded to replace the older ones. The north area have been observed some noticeable addition, for expample, a new hall of residence and new shopping centre have been made. In the city centre, bike rental scheme and a new train station have been established for local residents. The old road which served a wide range of vehicles in the past have been opened only for pedestrians. Moreover, the tramline have been used to connect the university and the city centre.
On the other hand, the Castellon university and the port have been remained relatively untouched during this period.
