The given diagram illustrates the process of recycling wasted glass bottles. The diagram involves three stages which begins with point’s collection and ends with selling for the customer and supermarket.
In the first step, lots of wasted glass bottles are collected carefully at the collection point then they are transported to the recycled factories by a lorry. After arriving at that factories, those bottles are cleaned under high pressurized water in order to wash away all impurities. Following that, the neat bottles are classified into three group, according to their colour as brown, green, and clear.
After being classified, each bottles are brought to the appropriate recycling plant in order to be ground. In the next step, pieces of bottles are melted in a furnace at 800-900 C until they became recycled liquid glass. That new liquid glass are then filled in the mold together with these recycled liquid glass to make the new recycled bottles. The final process is that a great number of new recycled bottles are sold to customers in the supermarket.
